The GripGrab AquaShield 2 Waterproof Gravel Shoe Covers are an evolution of the renowned GripGrab AquaShield, with a stronger construction and increased ease of use. They are now available in both a road version and this gravel version.
The zipperless design and anatomic cut offer a high level of comfort and waterproofing. The fabric's stretch allows you to adjust the shoe cover on your leg before putting on your shoes. The cuff should sit just underneath the calf muscle for optimal leg and sock protection. You can then put your shoes on and stretch the cover over them, securing them with the hook and loop closure under the sole.
This Gravel version of the AquaShield 2 combines PU-coated polyester with neoprene and Kevlar. The toe area is protected with a rubber insert to prevent damage when stopping and walking, while Kevlar is used underneath the forefoot for extra durability. These two elements help protect the PU body of the shoe cover from damage caused by tires, pedals, and vegetation. The opening in the base is specifically designed for gravel shoes with small cleats such as SPD and rubber sole lugs.
