The ATOMIC Hawx Prime 120 S BOA alpine ski boots are built for strong all-mountain skiers with mid-volume feet who want a hard 120 flex and a precise, dialed-in fit. A 100 mm medium-width last, customizable shell and cuff, and BOA® closure work together to deliver power and control from first chair to last run.
Construction and fit
These boots use Prolite construction, which keeps the shell and cuff slim while reinforcing key zones for efficient power transfer. The polyurethane (PU) shell and PU cuff provide consistent flex and solid skiing performance. A 100 mm last suits medium-width feet, with Hawx Geometry placing your foot, ramp angle and stance in a balanced, athletic position. Dual-sided cuff alignment helps match the cuff angle to your lower leg, while the regular cuff height and Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Cuff with removable spoiler let you fine-tune calf volume.
Closure and customization
The BOA® H+i1 system replaces traditional lower buckles with a bi-directional dial that micro-adjusts for even shell wrapping around the forefoot. Up top, a 40 mm Velcro power strap and 6000-series aluminum buckles lock in the fit. Memory Fit technology lets a bootfitter heat-mold the shell and cuff, and Power Shift 2.0 allows you to adjust forward lean to 13°, 15° (default) or 17° and fine-tune flex using the integrated shim system. Cantable GripWalk grip pads underfoot are compatible with canting shims when needed.
Liner and comfort features
The Mimic Platinum liner offers a firm, performance-oriented feel with a high level of customization. Special heat-moldable plastics in the heel and ankle are designed to mirror your anatomy, improving hold and comfort, while the Power Ankle Lock (PAL) layer enhances heel retention. The Hawx AFS Tongue can be repositioned to suit different instep heights, and the 3D Stretch Toe Box adds a bit of extra length and comfort around the big toe. A liner spoiler and Dual Velcro Spoiler help you reduce cuff volume and increase forward lean when you want a more aggressive stance. Size Adjuster inserts can be placed under the footbed to fine-tune the length by half a size.
