ATOMIC Hawx Prime black/stone boots

The ATOMIC Hawx Prime black/stone boots are alpine ski boots designed for all-mountain skiers with medium-width feet who want a forgiving feel without giving up control. With a 100 mm mid-volume last and soft flex, they suit progressing skiers who spend full days on groomers and varied resort terrain.

Construction and support

The Hawx Prime shell uses Atomic’s Prolite construction, which builds the boot around a lightweight base and reinforces key zones for strength and edge grip. A polypropylene (PP) shell and polyurethane (PU) cuff combine low weight with stable behavior across changing temperatures. Energy Backbone reinforcement and the Energy Link connection between cuff and shell improve power transfer and responsiveness through each turn. Dual-sided cuff alignment allows you to fine-tune the lateral cuff angle to better match your leg position for more comfort and control.

Fit and interior

This boot features a 100 mm medium-width last to suit most average feet straight out of the box. The Select Bronze liner has an anatomical shape and uses heat-moldable foams for customization. A 3D Stretch Toe Box adds extra length and comfort around the big toe area, while the Adaptive Fit System (AFS) cuff spoiler can be removed to increase volume at the calf. A size adjuster insert can be placed under the footbed to reduce the internal length by half a mondo size for a closer fit.

Closure and stance

Four 6000-series aluminum buckles and a 35 mm Velcro power strap let you independently tune pressure at each buckle and secure the upper cuff. The combination of Hawx Geometry, 15° forward lean and a 4° ramp angle puts you in a balanced stance for resort skiing. Cantable Grip Pads with ISO 5355 compatibility allow the use of canting shims and provide a solid interface with compatible alpine bindings.
