The ATOMIC Hawx Prime W black/gold boots are women’s alpine ski boots built for all-mountain skiers who want a forgiving, confidence-building feel in a mid-volume fit. With a 100 mm last and a soft, approachable flex of 85, they suit intermediate riders and progressing skiers who spend full days on groomers and varied resort terrain.
Shell construction
The Hawx Prime W uses Atomic’s Prolite shell technology, which builds the boot around a lightweight base structure and reinforces only in key zones for power and stability. A polypropylene (PP) shell combines with a polyurethane (PU) cuff to keep weight down while maintaining consistent flex in changing temperatures. Energy Backbone reinforcement in targeted areas increases strength and edge grip when you drive the ski. The low cuff height is tuned for women, sitting 15 mm lower across all sizes to better match typical lower leg anatomy.
Fit and customization
The 100 mm medium-width last is shaped to fit most average feet comfortably out of the box, and the shell is fully heat moldable for further customization. Inside, a Select Bronze liner offers an anatomic fit with a Hawx fixed tongue for consistent wrapping around the shin. The Adaptive Fit System (AFS) cuff spoiler can be removed to increase cuff volume and tulip shape for larger calves. A 3D Stretch Toe Box, asymmetrically shaped left and right, adds extra length and big-toe comfort when you’re on snow all day.
On-snow performance features
An Energy Link connection between shell and cuff improves responsiveness and control by making the two parts work together under load. Hawx Geometry, combining a 15° forward lean and a 4° ramp angle, sets you in a balanced stance that supports modern, centered skiing. Dual-sided cuff alignment lets you fine-tune lateral angle to match your leg position for more precise edge engagement and comfort.
