The Atomic Redster S9 FIS 150 is a high-performance slalom ski designed specifically for FIS junior racing. Replacing the Redster S9 FIS 152, this updated model features race-proven geometry and construction derived from Atomic’s adult FIS slalom skis, delivering the precision, stability, and responsiveness young racers need to attack every gate.
At its core is the Ultra Power Woodcore, made from strong ash wood to provide an excellent balance of stability, agility, and power at speed. The ski is reinforced with Ultra TI Powered, Atomic’s World Cup-proven full-width Titanal laminate. The updated double-bonding construction runs from sidewall to sidewall, increasing stability, torsional rigidity, and edge grip — especially on hard and icy racing surfaces.
The Icon Interface provides centralized power transmission beneath the boot, enhancing agility and creating a direct, responsive connection between the skier and the ski.
A full sidewall construction and narrow 65 mm waist allow the ski to transition rapidly from edge to edge, producing sharp and precise carved turns. The asymmetrical SL tip and carefully developed shovel, tail, radius, and increased V-shape create a unique junior-specific geometry designed for exceptionally quick handling and precise line control.
The Active Camber 0/100/0 maximizes effective edge contact for improved grip and stability, while the 87° side edge angle provides a race-ready combination of grip and predictable handling. A World Cup Base Finish reduces friction and promotes maximum speed, while the structured topsheet improves durability and gives the ski a premium race finish.
