The Burton [ak] Cyclic GORE-TEX 2L snowboard jacket is a regular-fit shell built for riders who spend long days lapping storms and hunting lines. This true black version pairs a GORE-TEX 2-layer construction with a rider-focused feature set to handle everything from mid-winter storms to bootpacks and sidecountry missions.
Outer construction
The Men’s [ak] Cyclic jacket uses a GORE-TEX 2-Layer recycled nylon 70D plain weave fabric in the True Black colorway. Articulated patterning and a backpack-friendly cut keep the jacket moving with you without bunching under straps or at the elbows. Welded, sew-free elasticized sides at the hood opening help the StormForm Fulltime Contour hood seal around your face while staying low profile. Shaped cuffs fine-tune the wrist fit and interface cleanly with gloves.
Weather protection
The GORE-TEX 2-layer shell delivers full windproof and waterproof performance with high breathability for riding in variable snow, sleet, or rain. Fully taped seams and YKK water-resistant zippers lock out moisture at all critical points. The ergonomic stretch zip-out waist gaiter with jacket-to-pant interface adds another barrier against blower pow and wet chairlifts, while the StormForm hood with Cohaesive embedded cinch and length adjustment keeps coverage secure in high winds.

This jacket has a regular fit that leaves room for layering without feeling bulky. Crossflow Venting with zippered side body vents manages heat on hikes and warmer days. Storage is extensive: zippered chest pocket with expandable bellow and ATM pocket inside, exterior access phone pocket, zippered handwarmer pockets, zippered sleeve pocket with Velcro-secured card pocket and detachable tethered scraper, plus interior mesh and power mesh goggle/lens dump pockets and in-pocket utility loops.
