The Velio is designed to help children from the ages of 10 months develop co-ordination, master balance and get mobile. It actively encourages a child to engage their coordination and balance skills, but in a way that is safe and allows us to provide the support they need.

When using the Velio, there are two important tools: 

The Tiller fits into the frame, so you can push and steer the Velio. You can introduce movements that prompt a counter response or decide how much balance support you give, putting control of their development firmly in your hands.

Our Active Balance Control system is a magical mechanism that slows a child’s fall, giving them the extra moments they need to coordinate a movement that keeps them balanced. 

The amount of support it gives can be changed, simply by turning the bezel above the rear wheel. A more responsive setting may be preferred by a novice rider and a tighter, stiffer setting more suitable as they develop.

It's just about finding the right balance...
