Merino wool is a wonder material for thermal regulation: it will keep can help to keep you cooler in hot summer conditions and insulate your feet in cold winter conditions. Merino wool fibres are exceptionally fine – which means they create a beautifully soft, non-itchy fabric. In these socks, merino wool is interwoven with synthetic fibres to a create a blend fabric that is significantly stronger and more durable.
This combination of fibres also assists moisture management. While merino wool can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in water without feeling wet to the touch, the synthetic fibres help moisture to quickly evaporate away.
