Prologo Scratch NDR is the ergonomic T-shape saddle specifically designed for XC and Marathon.

Developed through close collaboration with professional riders from eight MTB teams supported by Prologo, the Scratch NDR is the off-road evolution of the already well-established Scratch M5. This new saddle, with true racing DNA, is purpose-built to compete—and win—at the highest levels in XC and Marathon races.

Engineered for Every Climb

The Scratch NDR inherits from the Scratch family its compact dimensions (250 mm x 140 mm) and the innovative Multi Sector System: different mapped and separated zones, each with specific characteristics and functions tailored for XC and Marathon disciplines.

The two rear-lateral sections are designed to provide greater stability and comfort when pedaling in a rearward position during long climbs. The EVA foam padding, with variable density, is 3 mm thicker in the rear area for maximum support. These zones also feature a smooth cover to allow easier off-saddle movements.

The innovative front-central section is specifically engineered to tackle steep, technical climbs, with a wide flat surface that offers solid support even when pedaling on the saddle’s tip. This area features a Grip Cover with horizontal texture to maximize traction and help maintain an advanced seated position.

Anatomical Shape for Off-Road Disciplines

The anatomical shape of the new Scratch NDR has been redesigned for off-road use, with the "anatomic center" shifted 5 mm backwards. This increases the rider’s freedom of movement and enhances performance in the rearward pedaling position, typically used on extended climbs.

Closed Saddle with Active Base System

To provide a wider and flatter support surface in the front-central area, the Scratch NDR features a closed design without a central relief channel. This makes it more comfortable when pedaling on the nose of the saddle and offers greater protection from dirt and mud kicked up by the rear wheel.

The saddle’s base is made from carbon fiber and features Prologo’s Active Base System: a strategically placed hole beneath the padding that helps relieve pressure and increase comfort during rides.

Multiple Rail Options for Different Needs

For riders focused on maximum performance, seeking a stiff and lightweight saddle, the Scratch NDR is available with Nack rails (Nano Carbon Fiber made of carbon, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments) and weighs just 166 grams.

For those prioritizing comfort, a second version with TiroX rails is available, weighing 217 grams. Made from light alloy steel, TiroX offers a great balance between weight and strength, delivering reduced stiffness and improved vibration absorption.
